This is the first Monthly Release Note with refreshing product news that we hope will make your work during July more enjoyable.

Let's take a look:

1️⃣ Customize the investors’ invitations

We know that your relationship with potential investors is personal and requires dedication. That's why we now give you the option to add personal messages for LPs to start working on Vestlane.

You can include a customized text to the following email notifications:

• Invitation to subscribe to your Fund/SPV

When clicking on “+ Invite investor” to add a new investor to your fund, you can add a personal message:

Note that this is not possible when inviting existing investors.

• Resend the invitation to subscribe

Once you have already invited the investor to complete the information, you can resend it from the investor’s subscription workflow, by clicking the “Resend invitation” button in the top right corner of your screen.

You can choose if you want to resend it to all the investor’s users or only to particular ones.

2️⃣ Send Data Room updates

Are you using Vestlane’s Data Room? It's about time!

With the new “Send Data Room Update” you can notify potential investors of any new documents you upload in just a few clicks.

1. Click on “Send Data Room Update”

   

2. Select the documents you recently updated about which you want to notify to your investors. Then select “Send data room update via email”.

   

3. In the next step we will show you all the investor’s users that have access to those documents in the Data Room, so you can select which ones should receive an update notification.

   You can also add a personal message to the investors.
