Vestlane now automatically reads uploaded ID documents and passports using AI-powered OCR by Klippa.

When a Signatory, UBO, or Senior Managing Official uploads an ID document, the platform extracts and auto-fills key identity fields – reducing manual input and increasing data accuracy.

What’s included:

• Automatic population of: ◦ Full name ◦ Date of birth ◦ Nationality ◦ ID number ◦ ID type ◦ Expiry date
• Structured extraction from passports and common national ID formats
• Improved layout of Subscription and KYC contact forms to better display identity data

Compliant by design, the extraction runs through ISO 27001 & ISAE 3000 Type II certified infrastructure, is DORA & GDPR-compliant with EU-based servers, and is governed by a dedicated Data Processing Agreement.

This “magic autofill” significantly accelerates onboarding and Asset KYC completion while reducing typing errors and operational friction.
